Who uses Smart School Connect?

Everyone at school: principals and office staff on the web and the admin app, teachers, parents and the bus crew on their phones. Each person sees only what their role allows.

Can we bring our existing student data?

Yes. Import students from an Excel sheet, then invite parents; they activate their own accounts with their phone number.

Do parents need to download an app?

The parent app runs on Android and iPhone. Parents who haven't installed it can still get SMS and WhatsApp messages.

How does live bus tracking work?

The driver starts the trip in the crew app and the phone shares its location every few seconds, even with the screen locked, until the trip ends. It never tracks the driver outside a trip.

Can parents pay fees online?

Yes. Parents pay from the app, receipts are issued automatically, and offline payments can be uploaded as proof for the office to verify.

We have more than one branch. Does that work?

Yes. Branches can be grouped into a chain for reporting, while each school's records, staff and parents stay separate.
